Our barcode products come with free sample code that integrates our fonts in your Microsoft Access databases without needing broadband internet. Using our bar code fonts, creating barcodes in Access is a two part process: pass your data in as text, format the returned value in one of our barcode fonts.
Our Access sample code and plug-ins convert your data into a barcode. They add the start and stop bars, calculate any necessary check digits, and map the result into our fonts' character set. Having done the hard work for you, using our sample code adds barcode support to Access projects quickly and reliably.
There are two ways to wire our fonts into your database. We have an encoder that's a DLL and we wrote a wrapper around it for you. You can also use our Excel macro functions as a starting point if you want to do it yourself.
Using the DLL encoder in Access:If you don't see what you're looking for please ask us. We often have sample code for other applications and dev tools we'd be glad to share with you. If on the other hand you have something you'd like to share, please please contact us! It may save someone a lot of time and effort. Just tell us what t-shirt size you wear...
Try out our free demo! It includes a free Code 39 barcode font for you to download and play with.
