Code 128 bar codes are widely used for inventory, ID, and tracking purposes; they are one of the most popular symbologies in use by the shipping and distribution industry. Many labeling specifications explicitly require a Code 128 barcode. The GS1-128 is a good example of this.

The Code 128 barcode symbology gets its name from the characters it supports: the lower 128 ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) characters. Code 128 can be used to encode both upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation, and several non-typeable control codes. All Code 128 bar codes include a mandatory mod 103 check digit to insure data integrity. While Code 128 is similar in appearance to Code 39, another popular bar code symbology, Code 128 barcodes are much denser, making them practical for larger strings of data.

C128Tools includes five different Code 128 fonts in TrueType and Type 1 PostScript formats. Choosing between the different bar code fonts allows you to design the Code 128 barcode for your label, report or document with absolute precision. C128Tools License Types

C128Tools is $199 US per Single User License for Windows or Macintosh operating systems, $299 per Linux/UNIX system. A Single User License covers installation on one computer and never expires.

2, 5 and 10 year Site Licenses are available for C128Tools. Site Licenses cover unlimited in-company installations for 24, 60 or 120 months. A 2 year Site License is $595 US, a 5 year Site License is $995 US and a 10 year Site License is $1,795 US.

We also offer C128Tools Commercial Redistribution Licenses, which allow you to incorporate Azalea fonts or other components into your commercial product or service for resale. Commercial Redistribution Licenses are $2,500 US for a 5 year license term.
