Code 39 Barcode Software and Code 39 Barcode Fonts

Printing Code 39 barcodes is easy when you use C39Tools. Compatible with any Microsoft Windows, Macintosh or Linux/UNIX application, the barcode fonts in C39Tools are flexible, fast and easy to use. Create Code 39 barcodes in Excel, Access, Word, Crystal Reports, Photoshop, Illustrator, or any custom application you write on your own.
Code 3 of 9, or Code 39, barcodes are a popular symbology readable by almost any barcode scanning hardware. Code 39 barcodes are most commonly used for product or part ID, inventory tracking and asset management. An alphanumeric symbology, Code 39 barcodes can include uppercase letters, the digits 0 through 9 and several math punctuation marks. Code 39s can be of variable length and typically require no check digit; an optional mod 43 check digit is available but rarely used.
C39Tools comes with 27 different Code 39 barcode fonts and an OCR-B font for optional human-readable characters above or below the barcode. With so many Code 39 fonts to choose from, finding the precise width and density for your barcode project is as rapid and seamless as choosing between Ariel and Times new Roman.
Rather than a check digit, Code 39 barcodes use an asterisk (*) as a start and stop character. C39Tools makes on-the-fly encoding easy- simply place an asterisk before and after your data, choose a Code 39 font and you’ve got a scannable barcode ready for printing. Or let C39Tools do the heavy lifting for you- to create one or a handful of Code 39 barcodes, simply open the Tool, create your Code 39s and paste them into your label or design application. To create Code 39 barcodes in batches, open your Excel spreadsheet, Access database or Crystal Report and call C39Tools to turn an exhaustive list of data into barcodes in a matter of seconds.
C39Tools is available for Windows, Macintosh, Linux/UNIX and a variety of other platforms. To learn more about C39Tools read the C39Tools documentation here.
