C39Tools makes printing Code 39 barcodes easy. C39Tools prints Code 39 (Code 3 of 9) bar codes from within any Microsoft Windows or Macintosh application. The barcode fonts in C39Tools can be used in Excel, Crystal Reports, Word, Photoshop or you own custom application. These Code 39 barcode fonts are also available for Linux/UNIX and other platforms.

Code 39 is popular bar code symbology and can be read by almost all barcode scanners. Code 39 is used for ID, inventory, and tracking purposes. The Code 39 character set includes both uppercase letters and numbers as well as several math punctuation marks. Code 39 barcodes can vary widely in height and width. It can encode variable length strings and requires no check digit. (An optional mod 43 check digit is rarely used but available.)

C39Tools includes 27 different Code 39 barcode fonts. Switching among the individual fonts allows you to change the width and density of a bar code without changing its height. C39Tools includes an OCR-B font to create the optional human-readable characters above or below the bar code itself. Just about any size or shape you can dream up, C39Tools can handle.

The asterisk (*) is used as the start and stop bar. To encode AZALEA in a Code 39 barcode, format *AZALEA* in one of our Code 39 fonts.
