Azalea Software, Inc. www.azalea.com Crystal Reports Barcode Plugin UFL

Azalea Software's User Function Library is a barcode plug-in for Crystal Reports that integrates our barcode fonts into the SAP's reporting tool. The UFL adds the start and stop characters, calculates any necessary check digits and then maps it all into our fonts’ character sets. Don’t struggle to create a barcode in Crystal Reports, use our bar code plug-in.

Read our step-by-step instructions complete with screen shots, on how to create barcodes directly within Crystal Reports with our plugin. Crystal Reports 2008 ships with our User Function Library and a set of our Code 39 fonts. Consult the Crystal Reports 2008 documentation for further information.

Print Code 128 barcodes, UPC barcodes, Code 39 barcodes, Interleaved 2 of 5 bar codes, and POSTNET barcodes within your Crystal projects.

Our barcode User Function Library is two DLL's: u2lbcode.dll & barcode.dll. The UFL adds the start and stop bars, calculates any necessary check digit(s), and maps the output into our fonts' character set all in one step. Our User Function Library can also be used in Business Objects XI, Sage MAS90 and MAS200, and any product that uses the Crystal Reports engine and supports Crystal Reports formulas.

By default, our setup programs install our Crystal Reports UFL in the right places on your hard drive. You can also download and install it manually.

Please note that if your Crystal Reports projects will be sent out via a server to multiple users or you're printing via a print server, you may need to purchase a site license. If you're not sure, contact us for more information and we will be happy to help you determine your needs.

Business Objects has a technical article on their website that addresses printing barcodes in Crystal Reports.
