barcode ufl (user function library) barcode.dll & u2lbcode.dll
Make barcodes in your Crystal Reports projects with our barcode fonts and UFL (user function library). If you're using Crystal Reports 2008, our barcode software is built into the product. Don't worry, our barcode fonts works with all versions of Crystal Reports. Our UFL and fonts print Code 128 barcodes, UPC barcodes, Code 39 barcodes, Interleaved 2 of 5 bar codes, and POSTNET barcodes from within Crystal Reports.
All of our barcode font packages ship with a User Function Library that integrates our fonts into Crystal Reports projects. That makes printing barcodes in Crystal Reports a fast two-part process:
We have specific pages with a how-to and screenshots that show how to use our UFL amd barcode fonts in Crystal Reports:
Our bar code User Function Library is actually 2 DLL's: u2lbcode.dll & barcode.dll. The UFL adds the start and stop bars, calculates any necessary check digit(s), and maps the output into our fonts' character set all in one step. Our User Function Library can also be used in Business Objects XI, Sage MAS90 and MAS200, and any product that uses the Crystal Reports engine and supports Crystal Reports formulas.
By default, our setup programs install our Crystal Reports UFL in the right places on your hard drive. You can also download and install it manually. The files in the ZIP file go here:
Please note that if your Crystal Reports projects will be sent out via a server to multiple users or you're printing via a print server, you may need to purchase a site license. If you're not sure, contact us for more information and we will be happy to help you determine your needs.
Business Objects has a technical article on their website that addresses printing barcodes in Crystal Reports.
