This site will look much better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.
It's easy to print barcodes in your Crystal Reports projects using our User Function Library (UFL) and any of our barcode fonts. Our UFL is a plugin that creates Code 128 barcodes, UPC barcodes, Code 39 barcodes, and Interleaved 2 of 5 bar codes within Crystal Reports including Crystal Reports 2008.
All of Azalea barcode font packages come bundled with a User Function Library that integrates our fonts into your Crystal Reports project. Creating barcodes in Crystal Reports is a two part process:
- pass your data to our UFL
- format the returned value in one of our fonts
The UFL adds the start bars and stop bars, calculates any necessary check digit(s), and maps the output into our fonts' character set. Our User Function Library can also be used in Business Objects XI, MAS90, MAS200, and other products that use the Crystal Reports engine.
The barcode functions built in Crystal Reports 2008 is licensed from us. This functionality is installed by default. Our fonts also work with older versions of Crystal.
By default, our setup programs install our Crystal Reports User Function Library (barcode.dll and u2lbcode.dll) in the correct locations on your hard drive. Alternately you can download and install our Crystal Reports UFL manually. The files found in the zip file need to go here:
Vista
u2lbcode.dll -> c:\ProgramFiles\BusinessObjects\Common\3.5\bin
barcode.dll -> c:\ProgramFiles\BusinessObjects\Common\3.5\bin
Windows XP
u2lbcode.dll -> c:\windows\system32
barcode.dll -> c:\windows\system32
Windows NT & Windows 2000
