Putting Bar Codes in Acrobat PDF Files

You can make Acrobat PDF files using Azalea's bar code fonts. All of Azalea's product docementation is in PDF format and we used our own fonts to make them.

By making PDF files you can distribute documents with bar codes in them to people who don't own Azalea's barcode fonts. For example you could generate artwork in Adobe InDesign and export a PDF file, send it to your printer or service bureau and they could print it out, bar codes and all. The key is to turn off the compression for text so that the bar code remains readable

Tech note: In all of our fonts, the embed tag is deliberately set to Print & Preview to facilitate the creation of PDF files.
