Please use our free barcode sample code with our barcode font packages to make barcodes within your favorite applications: databases, spreadsheets, or your custom applications written in Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, C/C++, etc. These application plug-ins do things like add the necessary start and stop bars, calculate any required check digits, and map your nput into our fonts' character set. By using our sample code no one has to learn how bar codes work or write code from scratch.
How does our sample code work? You pass your data into a function and then format the returned value in one of our fonts. Remember: you can not simply format a chunk of text in one of our fonts and create a scannable bar code. You must create a string of the correct format. Said anotherway, our sample code do all the heavy lifting for you.
Our User Function Library (UFL) for Crystal Reports is a plug-in that integrates our fonts into Business Objects' reporting tool. We've written individual pages complete with screen shots and step by step instructions on how to use our UFL with our barcode font packages. Support for making barcodes with Azalea's fonts is now built right into Crystal Reports 2008.
Code 128We encourage you to download and review our free application plug-ins while evaluating our bar code font packages. If you need something not listed above, please ask. If you've developed something you'd like to share, we'd love to see it.
