Free Barcode Printing Plug-ins
A plug-in (or 'plugin') is a program that is integrated into another application. The smaller program "plugs into" the larger application. Plug-ins often provide additional functionality that isn't available in the application itself.
Our free barcode plug-ins make it easy to use our software font packages within your favorite database, spreadsheet or custom application. The Azalea plugins add the start and stop characters, calculate any necessary check digit/s and then map it all into our fonts' character sets. Don't struggle to create a barcode in Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, Visual Basic or C/C+- call our plug-ins from within any of these applications and let us do the heavy lifting for you!
Our barcode plug-ins have been carefully designed to function seamlessly with Azalea's barcode font software. Pass your data- UPC numbers, part numbers, account names, etc- into our plugin. The plug-in gives you back an encoded string of text. Format the text string into one of our barcode fonts and your job is done. Data in, barcode out!
Access
All of Azalea's products come with plug-ins to help you integrate our fonts in your Access database. Creating barcodes in Microsoft Access is an easy two part process: pass your data in, then format the returned value into one of our fonts. You'll find instructions and sample Access databases below.
Crystal Reports
Our UFL (User Function Library) for Crystal Reports is a plug-in that integrates our barcode fonts into the SAP/Business Objects reporting tool. We've got step-by-step instructions, complete with screen shots, on how to create barcodes directly within Crystal Reports.
If you've got Crystal Reports 2008, support for making Azalea barcodes is already built right in! See your Crystal Reports 2008 documentation for further information.
Excel
Creating Azalea barcodes within your Excel spreadsheet is a quick, efficient process. All of our software comes with an Excel plug-in that lets you turn hundreds or thousands of part numbers, UPCs, ISBNs, ID numbers, etcetera, into printable, scannable barcodes in a few easy steps.
