Code39Azalea is our free demo barcode font. Code39Azalea is a TrueType font that prints Code 39 bar codes in any Windows application. Code39Azalea is a demo of what C39Tools, our full retail package, does.
C39Tools has 27 different Code 39 barcode fonts in it as well as an OCR-B font to be used for the optional human-readable digits. C39Tools includes free sample code for applications like Crystal Reports, Excel, Access, Visual Basic, C/C++, etc, and full documentation. If you'll be printing barcodes from within another application it's worth visiting our sample code library.
A free wizard utility is bundled with our fonts to make printing only one or two barcodes as easy as copying and pasting into your favorite application like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Word, Quark XPress, you name it. Enter your barcode string into our utility, preview it onscreen, and then copy it into your target application.
C39Tools is available for Windows, the Macintosh, Linux, UNIX, and other platforms. 
C39Azalea is a subset of the full 44-character set. It contains the digits 0-9 and the asterisk used as the start and stop bar. Create barcodes by adding an asterisk before and after your numeric string. Format "*314159265*" in Code39Azalea and it will scan as "314159265".
The point size you use determines the height of the bars. We recommend using Code39Azalea at 18 points minimum.
