We license our software on a per computer basis with pricing based on how many computers our software is installed on.
If you have only one computer all you need is a single user license. This entitles you to install our fonts on one computer for a one-time fee. You may buy multiple single user licenses for multiple computers. [our single user shrink wrap license (EULA)]
If you have multiple computers within your company it's often less expensive to purchase a site license instead of multiple single user licenses. A site license allows co-workers who work for the same company to install our software on multiple computers. For example, if you write an Excel spreadsheet or Crystal Reports project that calls our fonts, a site license would allow all of your co-workers install our fonts to use with your application. Remember, if someone else needs to display or print using one of our fonts, that font needs to be installed on their machine and they must be covered by a site license. Our site licenses are sold for 2-, 5- or 10-year periods. [sample 2-year site license] At the end of a site license's term, you must renew it if you are still using our software.
If you want to resell our fonts as part of your commercial application we sell commercial redistribution licenses. Your setup program can then install our fonts along with your application. Standard commercial redistribution licenses cover a 5-year period. Commercial redistribution agreements are negotiated individually. [sample Commercial Redistribution license]
Site licenses and commercial redistribution licenses must be renewed after their time period expires if our fonts are still being used. We'll contact you 90 days before your license is due to expire by mail.
Linux & UNIX We offer only single user licenses for our Linux or UNIX products. Every computer in a networked cluster needs its own license. We do not count CPU's within a computer. Our test is how many plugs come out of the wall.
