There are times when you want to purchase our barcode software for one platform but have someone else use it with another OS. For example, you use a Macintosh but your graphic designer uses a Windows computer. You purchased our barcode fonts and but now your designer (who may be a outside contractor) needs to make bar codes for you.
We can help you out. Say you just got your company prefix from GS1 and have to put barcodes on your products. Buy a Windows copy of UPCTools for $199 and get a copy of the Macintosh fonts for only $29. You can create the string(s) necessary to make your barcode(s) and send them to your Mac using designer. When s/he formats the string in the fonts you give them, they can display and print UPC symbols.
